Many televisions have choice of running RCA cables to and from other electronic devices like DVD players and cable receivers. RCA cables are created of three various connections, with one carrying video signal (yellow cable) and two carrying stereo audio signal (red and white). Many PC monitor's need a VGA cable to accept video signal, so if you want to send information from television to a PC monitor you want to convert RCA cable to a VGA cable.
Instructions
1. Step 1
Attach yellow RCA cable to "Out" port of television. There is no necessitate utilizing red and white sound cables as PC monitor does not play sound.
2. Step 2
Connect an RCA to VGA adapter at open end of yellow cable.
3. Step 3
Attach a VGA cable to VGA end of adapter and ensure that it is fixed firmly.
4. Step 4
Connect open end of VGA cable into PC monitor and turn on both television and PC monitor. The monitor must display what is on television.
