Like other brands, HP printers can show symptoms ranging from simple to difficult. Thus, it can be a challenge to decide accurately where better place is to start solving. Just like all printers, some HP printer connected problems look to result from driver compatibility problems with many different hardware and software it tries to attach to with. Though, before you automatically go that route, it is worth your while to first rule out some other likely reasons.

Instructions

1. Step 1

Check the cables attaching printer to PC to ensure that they fit neatly.

2. Step 2

For restoring connection of printer go to "Start”, "Control Panel" and select "Printers and Faxes."

3. Step 3

Double tick on HP printer and choose "Printer" from toolbar menu.

4. Step 4

Click "View" and then tick "Refresh."

5. Step 5

Go to "General" tab and check that you can print a test page.
