Superlink USB may look as if any other USB cable. Though, it is utilized to move data from one PC to other. Though the cable is a quite plain device, it is feasible to run into problems as trying to move data, like information not copying over from one PC to other. Though, many problems that occur can be repaired with some cable and software tests.

Instructions

1. Step 1

Check USB cable. Ensure that it is appropriately attached to a USB port on both PCs. You want to plug cable into a different USB port on PCs, as sometimes a port
may not work appropriately with Superlink USB data transfer cable.

2. Step 2

Ensure that you have file sharing software installed on both PCs. This software came with Superlink USB cable when you bought the product.

3. Step 3

Test to see if both PCs are powered on. If second PC is now powered on the PC you are now using may not identify the other PC, making it unworkable to send data either to or from PC.

4. Step 4

Install all drivers for data transfer. These drivers came on a driver installation CD. Without drivers the two PCs are not going to identify one another.
