[B]Instructions

1. Step 1

Check that wires are plugged in correctly or that printer is attached to PC through a wireless network. Turn the power off and back on and ensure the light is not flashing.

2. Step 2

Open the printer, with power on, and ensure the ink cartridge holders are not blogged or fixed. They must slide over into view after power has been turned on. If they are fixed, they want to be substituted.

3. Step 3

Test ink cartridges and substitute them if they look to be empty or are old. The ink have dried up and blocked the rest of ink from flowing out. Set cartridges away and start a test print with new ink cartridges. If printer still does not work, keep the old cartridges and try them again when printer is repaired.

4. Step 4

Uninstall the printer from PC and install using CD or by downloading software from company's website. This repairs any problems with communication between printer and PC.

5. Step 5

Check printer using only a black and white print rather than color. There may be a difficulty with only color cartridge, in which case ink cartridge wants to be substituted. If this works, try using only the color cartridge to see if there is a difficulty with black ink.
