You can listen what people have said in a room by making a homemade spy listening device. Leaving a voice activated recorder hidden in room permits for simple snooping. Such recorders are light on power necessities and can generally live in a room for some days without refreshing batteries. The hours of silence in a room will not be recorded, giving extra efficiency. The trick to voice recording is always going to center on microphone. This technique displays how to hide a mini-condenser microphone in a bunch of plastic flowers.

Instructions

1. Step 1

Disassemble a multimedia PC microphone using a service knife. These microphones frequently come with a flexible arm and free-standing plastic base. Cut cautiously about the end of microphone head and peel back the plastic until mini-condenser microphone is exposed. Recover microphone from arm's plastic housing and wire leading to its 1/8-inch mini-stereo plug. Remove the arm and base.

2. Step 2

Attach small condenser microphone 1/8-inch insert to a voice-activated digital recorder's headphone jack. Switch on recorder and place it to voice activates. Turn the volume up high.

3. Step 3

Put recorder in a dark flower jug. Ensure that jug is solid to point the recorder cannot be seen in it. Take care not to bump it on way down. Place microphone outside the vase.

4. Step 4

Put bunch of plastic flowers in the jug. Connect microphone below one of the flowers, using clear cellophane tape. Permit cord from microphone to fall back into vase.

5. Step 5

Organize the flowers so microphone is hidden from casual view at all angles. Maintain flower with microphone near the middle of bouquet so other flowers and leaves help protect it from view.
