If you have dropped something on keyboard or key has just fallen off its hinges, attempt this technique to simply repair and substitute keyboard. The instruction is to repair Apple's Laptop Keyboard, but repairing any brand or model number’s key by carefully observing the images and instructions.

Instructions

1. Step 1

To install key on Apple laptop keyboard, begin by watching metal plates on keyboard. Always be sure to see metal keys as they change in each keyboard. The bigger metal hooks can be at the top, bottom, right or left side. The position of metal hooks decides the place of plastic pieces. Here it has one big metal hook at bottom and two metal holes at top.

2. Step 2

Take the bigger plastic part and watch that it has two big sticks at the top, two sticks at the bottom and two holes in middle. The bigger top sticks are going to go into top metal holes. The smooth part faces away from keyboard.

3. Step 3

Take the small plastic piece and view that it has two sticks at the top, two sticks at the middle and a bar at the bottom. The sticks in the middle are going into middle holes of bigger piece. The bottom bar is going to click onto bottom metal hook. The smooth part faces away from keyboard.

4. Step 4

Put small piece on big piece and put its sticks to holes of bigger piece. It’s one piece now.

5. Step 5

Put top sticks into top metal holes. Push it regularly to insert entirely. Obtain a thin object or blade and enlarge the plastic pieces so that it clicks together.

6. Step 6

Take letter key, place it in middle and push down consistently from all four sides.
You have just repaired Apple laptop keyboard.
