Initially open up the monitor to obtain access to interface board that has video controller.

Then look for novatek IC. Pins 5 and 6 want to have a 47 ohm resistor soldered between these two pins. The IC chip is a surface mount device type, so it will be difficult to solder. The other choice would be to put a 50 ohm SMD resistor between these pins.

3. Step 3

After this resistor is soldered, the monitor will work like new. Again assemble the monitor and plug in to test
