Acer creates many LCD monitors. Acer monitors variety from 17 inches to 27 inches. Few monitors have wide-screen, embedded speakers, high-definition visuals, and different display connection ports. Acer PC monitor problems contain general problems like dead pixels, error messages, and blank screens caused by wrong connections. Few reviewers have also detected image problems with DVD playback on models.

"Input Not Supported" Error Message

1. Acer PC monitors like G24 issue an "Input Not Supported" error message when users set display resolution high. The G24's maximum display resolution is 1920x1200 with a 60Hz refresh rate. Maximum resolutions differ to particular monitor and capabilities of video card.

"Input Out of Range"

2. Few Acer PC monitors report an "Input out of Range" error message because of wrongly set monitor refresh rates. Like display resolution, every monitor also has particular monitor refresh rates with which it is well-suited.
Blank Screen or "No Signal" Error

3. Acer PC monitors aspect color-coded power indicator lights. If power indicator light is green, contrast or brightness levels set too low and must be changed by OnScreen Display. If this does not remove monitor of a black screen, the monitor facing hardware failure.

"No Signal" or "Check Cable message" specifies a problem with monitor's cable connection with video card. This also shows on a blank screen backdrop if monitor is connected to wrong port on PC or if PC is frozen and wants to be restarted.

5. Dead pixels and sub-pixels cause a range of display enjoyment problems. Acer will accept returns on LCD monitors that have "more than four faulty pixels per million pixels." Then mid region of monitor have no more than one faulty pixel. Acer does not distinguish in warranty terms between pixels and sub-pixels.
