There are several things that can go erroneous with PCs. When a PC is first starting, many times it will beep one time. This beep is called POST code.
The BIOS
1. Initially that requires to be taken is choosing manufacturer of BIOS. BIOS is set of instructions built into PC that shows how to start, read the hard drive and do all operations that are required to get a PC working.
Determine Who Made the BIOS
2. To decide who created BIOS, start PC and watch the screen. It will display something like "Award," "AMI bios" or like this.
One Beep is Good
3. One beep from a PC is a worldwide code meaning all checks out as good.
Problem Indication
4. If PC beeps more than one time, that generally shows a problem of some kind PC has found.

5. To decide precisely what problem is, check BIOS makers’ website. They have pages that show beep codes and what they mean.
