If you want to maintain updated on Apple’s new releases and safety patches, it is always better idea to upgrade Safari browser when a latest version is out. Instructions

1. Step 1

Visit to Apple website, click on “Downloads”.

2. Step 2

Box appears that says “Safari 4”. Click “Download”.

3. Step 3

Choose button for “Safari for Windows XP or Vista”.

4. Step 4

If you want to be updated by Apple with latest products and software updates, un-check the box “Keep me up to date with…” This permit to prevent using email address and communicated with Apple for news and promotional reasons.

5. Step 5

Tick button under email address box “Download Safari Now”.

6. Step 6

A dialog box appears that asks whether you want to open or save file called Safari.Setup.exe. Click “Open”.

7. Step 7

A popup window displays download progress. When Safari has completed downloading, close window.

8. Step 8

To keep on with Safari upgrade, then it asked “Do you want to run this file?” Tick “Run” and then close popup box.

9. Step 9

A Safari welcome window will come out. Click “Next”.

10. Step 10

Once Apple’s terms read, check the box “I accept the terms in the license agreement” and tick “Next”.

11. Step 11

Choose where you want to save the file. It sets target folder in C:\Program Files\Safari\ but you can alter the target by checking “Change…” button and selecting other place.

12. Step 12

Click “Next” to complete Safari upgrade. The window displays status of install. Also it displays that it deletes applications that were utilized temporarily during installation.

13. Step 13

When completed, you will see “Congratulations” that displays upgrade of Safari was successful.
