How to Record From an Integrated PC Camera

Many notebooks and PC monitors feature integrated PC cameras that help easy-to-record video and still-image capture. Few PC companies contain pre-installed webcam software. Generally, company's software gives enough features for recording audio and video and for taking still-shots. Here we will use free "Debut Video Capture Software" for recording videos and taking pictures with an integrated PC camera.

Instructions

Record Video

1. Step 1

Start "Debut Video Capture Software" program. Go to "Webcam" sign, and tick.

2. Step 2

Fine-tune screen by physically inclining it until it displays image you want.

3. Step 3

Click on menu to right of "Record as." Choose preferred output file.

4. Step 4

Pick "Encoder Options" to modify compressors and formats utilized to make video.

5. Step 5

Choose "Edit Output" to alter the objective size of video and frame rate.

6. Step 6

Click on "File" in menu bar. Choose "Options."

7. Step 7

Click on "Output" tab. Browse to chosen "Destination Folder" for saving videos. Click
"OK" button when completed.

8. Step 8

Press "Record" button or F5 key to begin recording. Push button or key again to stops the recording.
Record Still-Frames

9. Step 1

Start "Debut Video Capture Software" program. Click on "Webcam" icon.

10. Step 2

Fine tune screen by physically inclining it until screen displays image you want.

11. Step 3

Click on "File" menu and choose "Options."

12. Step 4

Choose "Snapshots" tab. Go to wanted "Save Location" for storing photos.

13. Step 5

Choose "Format" and "Quality" wanted. Click the "OK" button when completed.

14. Step 6

Click on camera symbol in "Debut Video Capture Software" window when you are set to capture a photo.
