Printer's ink levels finally reduce until cartridge fully runs dry. That is why it is essential for you to check printer's ink levels. By doing this you are able to stop running out of ink when you want it most. Checking ink levels takes some time as most PCs and printers have this choice integrated.
Instructions
1. Step 1
Look at levels on printers’ software. Print a paper by pushing Ctrl + P. A window will show ink levels if PC is set with this feature.
2. Step 2
Print a test piece of paper. Check the colors come out to be bright or faint.
3. Step 3
Open Control Panel and choose "Printers." Right tick on default printer and opt for "Printing Preferences." The ink levels will be displayed on window.
4. Step 4
Check the ink cartridge. Open printer cover and take out a cartridge. See bottom of cartridge and softly touch the end. The cartridge will be vacant if you do not find any ink on finger.
