Before printing a vital document, printer runs out of ink. The colors lighten, line across the page, or vanish overall. Ink cartridges do not last forever; actually they generally have an end date needing their usage within six months. Now you have got that alternate cartridge but then what to do?

Instructions

1. Step 1

Switch on scanner or printer. Ink light must be on, but not flickering. Open scanner so that it locks into position. There must be a "Stop" knob that moves print head. Push it, and head moves to display which cartridge is low.

2. Step 2

Push "Stop" continually to see which cartridges require substitution. If there are not any low cartridges, it will finally go back to default position. Open cover of vacant cartridge. There must be a tab on ink cartridge. Squeeze it and cautiously pick it up and out. Enclose it up and dispose of it watchfully to prevent leakage.

3. Step 3

Vibrate the latest cartridge earlier than opening it, but be certain not to touch green chip. Take off yellow tape from bottom. Make sure that you obtain most out of cartridge and removes air pockets.

4. Step 4

Put in alternate cartridge and softly push down until hear a click. Perform similar for other unfilled cartridges. When finished, close the cartridge cover. The scanner cover can be closed by pressing plastic support and guiding cover down.

5. Step 5

Push "Stop" knob again so ink will charge. This procedure should not take longer than two minutes. Do not turn off printer during this time; but performing this will waste ink. You will know it's ended when "On" light stops flickering and continues on. Print a test paper and enjoy the results.
