There are various types of memory sticks accessible on market. Some range from a USB thumb drive, as others are put in digital tools like camera. Eventually, memory stick is going to fill up with worthless information you no longer want, so if you want to make room for new information, it is needed to clean up memory stick.

Instructions

1. Step 1

Put in USB thumb memory stick into any available USB ports. If memory stick is utilized in combination with a digital device, put in memory stick into device, then connect USB cable to tools and put in other end into a USB port on PC.

2. Step 2

Switch on electronic device and wait for PC to state it has detected a new convenient memory device.

3. Step 3

Go to "My Computer" and choose detachable memory disk icon. This shows all content that is now being saved in memory stick.

4. Step 4

Choose folders or files you want to delete by clicking them one time. This highlights name of icon. Push "Delete" button and you are asked if you are sure you want to delete file. Click "Yes" and file is cleaned from memory stick.

5. Step 5

Do again removal process until all content that you want to delete has been deleted from memory stick.

6. Step 6

To remove every file on a memory stick, right click on particular drive and choose "Format" and "Quick Format." This removes every file on it.
