If you want to have a printer attached appropriately to PC, you want to install drivers for it. Usually, printers come with an installation CD that installs driver but install extra software like word processor trials or photo software you do not want. Lexmark makes its drivers available on a website so that you can install them without additional software.

Instructions

1. Step 1

Enter model number of printer on website, and then push "Select" button.

2. Step 3

Choose operating system by using options given for you.

3. Step 4

Select driver listed in "Recommended" sector that shows after entering operating
system. Click on text to download the driver.

4. Step 5

Double-click on downloaded file to install printer driver. Be certain to follow instructions shown on the screen.
