These are usually utilized for home audio systems like CD stereo systems or record players. Though these systems are created to run with separate audio systems, they can be utilized with many PCs, both desktop and laptops, PCs and Macs. With some special cables, you can rapidly and simply attach speakers up to PC system.

Instructions

1. Step 1

Connect a red and white RCA-to-headphone jack cable into back of HiFi speakers you want to attach to PC. RCA cables move both audio and video signals from various electronic sources. RCA ports are a sequence of three circular holes about quarter of an inch thick. One is red, another yellow and a third white. The red and white ports are for audio, as yellow port is for video.

2. Step 2

Put in a headphone jack splitter if want to connect many HiFi speakers to PCs headphone port. A jack splitter permits to connect above one set of headphones into similar port. You can buy a jack splitter at many electronic shops like Radio Shack and Best Buy.

3. Step 3

Connect headphone jack end of RCA to headphone jack into splitter.

4. Step 4

Switch on PC and choose program you want to play audio with. Play the content you want and audio is going to come out of HiFi speakers you have connected into PC.
