How to Restore a Disk That Really Works

Earlier than flash drives and burnable CDs, data from PC was saved onto a convenient floppy disk. These disks were tiny in size, yet could only hold a little more than one megabyte of information. As using a disk, you may face a problem where disk fails to function properly, although it must work. To solve this problem, you want to reformat disk.

Instructions

1. Step 1

Put disk in PC and open "My Computer."

2. Step 2

Choose "3 1/2 floppy disk icons once with mouse and click "File," afterward "Format." This opens little formatting window.

3. Step 3

Click on "Full Format" afterward "Start." PC disk drive is now going to format disk.

4. Step 4

Click "OK" after formatting procedure has finished. This closes out disk formatting window

5. Step 5

Go to save and store any new information on disk, and it is will work appropriately.
