Though battery life for laptop PCs have enhanced significantly as first laptops PCs came out, there are some things one can do to develop lifespan of battery.

1. Step 1

As you first obtain battery and charge it for first time, ensure that you wait until battery is charged fully. As this was particularly true of older batteries which were vulnerable to developing battery memory, it will not be a bad thought to treat new batteries similarly.

2. Step 2

Prevent leaving notebook PC connected into an AC adapter 24/7. Most PC companies like Apple say perfectly you want to discharge battery once a month.

3. Step 3

If you want to store battery for long time, try to discharge it till it is around 50% charged. Then remove it and store it someplace safe. You do not want to store it someplace with much humidity. Nor would you want to keep it anywhere that is very hot or very cold.
