Attaching CPU to TV is not hard than place up a DVD player or VCR. All it wants is an additional cable and a little tweaking to laptop show settings. S-Video cables are inexpensive and can be found at electronics shop. Attach laptop to TV will permit you to show any actions you do on laptop on TV. It can be helpful if you want to show an arrangement or timepiece videos with others rather than creature huddled around a small screen.
Instructions
1. Step 1
Check that you enable to attach by S-Video. Pretty much all standard definition TVs has an S-Video port. Check if it has a 4 or 7 pin connection. If both TV and laptop share similar pin connection, just attach one end of S-Video cable to S-Video port of PC and remaining end to TV. If they do not share similar number of pins, you will have to obtain a 4-to-7 (or vice versa) S-Video pin converter.
2. Step 2
Put TV in S-Video mode. If laptop is on, then all contents appear on screen.
3. Step 3
Modify laptop screen resolution. You want to utilize a resolution that is near to that of TV. Right tick on desktop and choose "Properties". Go to "Settings" tab. Drag slider bar to modify resolution and tick "Apply". Continue changing until it looks good on TV. Press "OK" to exit display properties.
