How to Set Up a Mac Airport to Receive Local Wireless Internet
AirPort on Mac PC to fasten to a wireless Internet supplier is a simple and different type of process that does not need any practical or advanced PC skills. AirPort can attach to any wireless network devoid of a router or other connection devices; all you want is Mac and a local wireless Internet connection. Whether you utilize Mac's OS or OSX OS, linking PC to Internet though AirPort wants but some easy steps.
Instructions
1. Step 1
Make sure that PC is on and placed near a wireless Internet connection.
2. Step 2
Tick on magnifying glass symbol. This allows "Spotlight," a program utilized to find programs placed on Mac.
3. Step 3
After you click on magnifying glass, a search mechanism will show. Click on vacant space in search bar and type "AirPort". Push enter.
4. Step 4
From scroll-down list, tick "AirPort Setup Assistant". Click "Continue" to start setting up AirPort.
5. Step 5
If you are setting up wireless Internet on Mac for first time, click "Set up a New AirPort Base Station" and carry on. PC will mechanically start searching for wireless connectivity now, and must mechanically attach to wireless Internet service. If Internet connection is password-protected, you will be prompted for a password. If you do not know password, contact Internet Service Provider for that information.
