Water-cooling is method to make PC better versatile. It can make PC very quiet during operation, permit to overclock equipment, and can help parts last for longer time than they would in a standard air-cooled case. Installing a water-cooling system is not hard, due to new advances in water-cooling kits, which as long as you follow few easy commands and safety measures are a snap to install in current PC, or in a brand new one.

Instructions

1. Step 1

Shut down PC and take out power supply, if likely. You do not want to involuntarily get coolant into power supply as setting up system. If you can't simply take out power supply, cover it with a plastic bag.

2. Step 2

Eliminate every part from case except for motherboard and processor. Install water cooling kit parts onto individual parts of hardware like video card, hard drives, etc.

3. Step 3

Install water cooling part onto motherboard and processor final, taking care not to bend or harm motherboard whilst doing so.

4. Step 4

Again install parts you removed in PC, and make sure that there will be sufficient room for tubing to run between parts into input and output sectors on water cooling unit.

5. Step 5

Connect tubing input and output, using plastic hose clamps to firmly protect tubes so that leaks do not happen. Do not over tighten hose clamps, but make sure that they are safe. When attaching tubing to parts, start at top of case, and chain them jointly going downwards, so that the output of every part feeds into input of next.

6. Step 6

Attach output of last part into input sector of water cooling pump. Attach pump's output into input part of first water-cooled part. If you have a reservoir that came with kit, install it between pump and first water-cooled part.

7. Step 7

Load system with cool. Perform this gradually, and see for leaks. If you spill any coolant, or you see any leaks, directly clean them up with paper towels. After reservoir is full, turn on pump and see system for some minutes, refilling as needed, and make sure that no leaks are there. When you are pleased, close case and enjoy water-cooled PC.
