The start of digital picture frame has brought about an uprising in sharing photographs that sends old laminar-style photo albums the way of memorable dinosaur. With wide variety of sizes and styles also come a wide variety of methods for loading or reloading images on frames. The three most utilized methods of data transfer to these digital picture frames are PC-to-USB, SD or MICROSD media card and USB thumb-drive to frame.

Instructions

PC to Frame USB

1. Step 1

Switch on together digital photo frame and PC.

2. Step 2

Attach a USB cable to USB port and then attach other end to digital photo frame.

3. Step 3

See PC screen for notification that OS has found, and identified, digital frame device. Many digital frames will cause a symbol to show on PC desktop.

4. Step 4

Go to place on PC where you have digital photographs installed. Choose photographs you wish to move and then, using mouse, drag photos on digital picture frame icon on desktop and drop them onto icon.

5. Step 5

Right click on digital picture frame icon on desktop and choose "Safely Remove" or "Safely Disconnect" to separate digital frame from PC after photos have been moved. Disconnect cable from both devices and store until next use.

SD or MICROSD Card to Frame

6. Step 1

Find media card addition hole on digital photo frame, if it has this kind of slot, and note label next to, or under, the slot. The labeling will describe the kind of media card slot digital frame recognizes. If frame's slot is SD but you have a MICRO-SD card, install MICRO-SD card in SD card adapter.

7. Step 2

Turn off digital photo frame and softly put in the media card into card slot until you feel it "click" into place.

8. Step 3

Turn on digital photo frame and ask with digital frame owner's manual for commands in how to move photos from media card to kind of frame.

9. Step 4

Turn off device before removing media card after photos have been moved from media card into frame.

USB Thumb Drive to Frame

10. Step 1

Turn off digital photo frame and put in USB thumb-drive into USB socket until placed tightly in place.

11. Step 2

Turn on frame and ask with frame's owner's manual for commands on moving photos from USB thumb drive to kind of digital photo frame.

12. Step 3

Turn off frame and disconnect drive from frame after you have moved photos from thumb-drive into frame.
