For most persons, having a modified PC is essential. You may have altered background or screen saver on PC, but have you ever thought spicing up case? Neon lights are one accessory that you can include to give that further personal look to PC. You can select also from a wide range of neon colors. Installing these lights will need few strategies, as placement of PCs interior parts will affect where you can install lights.

Instructions

1. Step 1

Open PC case and decide where you want to put lights. Your place requires be closing sufficient to power supply for cables to easily reach and still clearly likable. Your lights need higher voltage than PC, so you want a voltage inverter, which must be supplied with lights. Make sure that you have sufficient room for voltage inverter to reach lights and a smooth area for tape or Velcro connected to inverter to hold.

2. Step 2

Mount voltage inverter by taking out the backing of Velcro or double-sided tape connected to back of inverter. Tightly push adhesive side of tape to sector of case that you have selected and make sure tape entirely sticks.

3. Step 3

Check light to decide how they are to be installed. Many will have rubber "feet" connected. Take out backing from double-sided tape and put lights feet down onto inside of case. Remember to put lights so that cables are going to voltage inverter to avoid overstretching cables.

4. Step 4

Find an unutilized Molex connector and put in inverter plug into it, making sure that two are tightly connected. Protect all wires to avoid any damage because of future maintenance. Close case, connect power cord in and turn on PC. Your lights must come on with PC or just soon after.
