How to Scan a Double Sided Document with a Flatbed Scanner
A scanner can only scan one side of a document at a time. What if you want to scan a document with double sided pages? There is a method to do this and make a single sided document merging pages jointly in one file. Here is how to scan a double sided document with a flatbed scanner.
Instructions
Step 1
If scanner is without software that permits to scan pages in single file, these steps will assist you avoid this problem.
Step 2
Download software that changes images into PDF. Go to resources for Download dot com site and enter "Scan to PDF" in search. On left of results page, click on free link to reform only free software. E.g. Swift PDF software.
Download the software and install into PC.
Step 4
If document is stapled or enclosed in any way, watchfully separate sheets so that you can simply scan them on a flatbed type. It is still likely to copy enclosed documents but it will take extra time.
Step 5
If there are no page numbers on document, write them on both sides with exemption of cover. The numbering will maintain track of pages to merge into one document.
Step 6
Scan one side of document. An image file of every scan will be made on PC. Name the file as said by page number. Flip the document over.
Step 7
Scan the further side of document at end. An image file of every scan will be made on PC. Name the file in relation to page number.
Step 8
Utilize software to include or load images into software. Load images in sequence. A rapid way to do this with Swift PDF is to choose all images and click open. This will load all pages into one document.
Step 9
Utilize software to make a single PDF. In Swift PDF software e.g. a "Create PDF" will convert images into PDF.
