Dell Inspiron 9400 has three connection choices, permitting it to send a video signal to many modern displays, containing external PC monitors or TVs. If you want to bring the output of Inspiron 9400 to a bigger video display, attach it to a TV using an S-Video, VGA or DVI cable.

1. Step 1

Check TV to see what inputs are accessible.

2. Step 2

Choose proper cable to join PC to TV.

3. Step 3

Close Inspiron 9400. Attach it to TV by proper cable. Every video output ports are placed on back of Inspiron.

4. Step 4

Turn notebook and television on.

5. Step 5

Press "Fn" and "F8" keys on Inspiron's keyboard together to modify display between Inspiron TV, or both Inspiron and TV. The setting will remain until it is modified or video cable is detached.
