Placing files on a floppy disc can be achieved in some easy steps. Floppy discs can be helpful for saving small data and are very cheap. They do not have capacity of CDs and DVDs, but they can be useful for storing system settings and small files.

Instructions

Step 1

Put in floppy disc into floppy drive and go to "Computer". This folder is situated in right window of Start Menu.

Step 2

Double click drive A. This is default drive for floppy drives in OS. If you have two floppy drives installed in PC, drive letter will be either A or B.

Step 3

Click and drag files you desire to copy to window you opened in earlier step. Now files will copy to floppy disc. Wait for files to complete copying and close window. Now take out floppy disc.
