Instructions
Step 1
Get a 4 port KVM PC switch that utilizes PS2 ports, the type with tiny round connections. Utilize phrases such as "4 port switch" when go to electronics sellers sites to search for proper product. Get well known brand for PC peripherals when making buy. Be sure switch you select contains PS2 connections and that mouse and keyboard utilize PS2 connections.
Step 2
Put the monitor, mouse and keyboard in a middle place near two or more PCs that will be sharing peripherals. Connect cables included with PC switch to PCs, and then connect monitor, mouse and keyboard. Organize PC hookups for switch in adjacent order. E.g. first PC on left must be attached through toggle on far left. Ensure all connections are comfortable.
Step 3
Toggle between inputs by adjusting the switch. E.g. when using far left computer, push far left button; when using far right PC, push far right button. You have so successfully removed two-faced peripherals for many PCs.
