Thread: ExpressCard in T-6208c Notebook

I bought T-6208c notebook laptop and installed XP. I think express card is helpful than PC card, but I don't know about it so please tell me how to install or remove express cad.

In this laptop, Express card technology and pc card technology are different kind of technology as PC Card interface utilizes ISA-based 16-bit or PCI-based 32-bit but express card interface utilizes high-speed PCI Express or USB 2.0 serial interfaces. Mainly express card work like interface which permit peripheral device to attach PC like printer, scanner or other devices.

PCMCIA devices can attach to Express Card slot by adapter. If notebook supports hot-swapping then it doesn't want to reboot T-6208c notebook laptop when modifying cards .Hot-swapping means you can add Express Card as notebook is running. In Express Card slot has included on high-end laptops like this. Also make sure that Express Card less needed than PC Card as few handy PCs don’t have express card slot.
