Thread: How to deactivate USB Port in Windows?

I have installed XP in my PC. When I connect an USB Device, The device must be restricted. If you are having any suggestions then reply me. It can helpful to me.

Deactivating the USB port in windows is very simple. All you require to do is just follow the method given below.
• First right click on My computer and choose properties.

• Go to hardware tab and choose device manager. This will show all the hardware devices in your system including the USB ports.

• When you double click on these USB ports, its properties will be opened. Then you can disable these ports in the settings dialog box.
