Thread: Details of Intel core i7 980X

Intel has out its new core i7 980X processor. And I decided to use this processor in my PC but I didn’t have much information about it. So please provide me all details related to this processor. Any help will be appreciated.

The core i7 980X is fixed into 32 nm and is first micro-processor general public with 6 effecting cores. Every heart has 256 KB of cache second level and 12 MB cache third level shared among cores. The Core i7 980X uses QPI bus to its trade with X58 chipset, which gets throughput of 25.6 GB / s.
