Default Monitor Does Not Power Up?

My mouse froze on screen of computer. I plugged in USB mouse and hey presto it was fine? Then after about twenty minutes my screen switched off? I tried hooking up to extra monitor but this too had no indication being sent to it. I also tested unique screen by relating to computer. The screen worked. ??? I also tested out original mouse using computer and it too was OK? Please help me to solve this problem.

Update: I have done a few investigate and later than listening to 'beeps' being emitted, have narrowed difficulty down to 1 Long, 2 Short Video adapter stoppage Bad video adapter However, what is the solution for this? Presumably because the mouse failed first this would propose failure in RAM or am I talking rubbish? If it is a bad video adapter what should I do?

If you have interpret motherboards physical and subsequent beeps mentioned says it's bad video then you'll have to spend in a new graphics card. what motherboard is it before buying new graphics card I would attempt and re seat current card to appear if it makes difference, if not have to procure new card.
