With the help of bootable disk you can boot your system if your hard drive crashes. If your OS becomes crashed or corrupted, a bootable disk will helps you to troubleshoot and potentially save your data. Creating a bootable disk gives flexibility in troubleshooting that cannot be found in the system restoration CD that came with your computer.
• Insert the floppy disk into your disk drive.
• Hold "Ctrl" and press "E" to open Windows Explorer .
• Right-click on the floppy disk drives and choose "Format."
• Check the box next to "Create an MS-DOS startup disk."
• Click "Start" to format your floppy disk and create your startup disk
