The basic input/output system (BIOS) is necessary PC motherboard firmware. With the BIOS menu, you can arrange many system settings for example, the PC boot sequence and also arrange hardware, such as visual (CD/DVD) drives or a check. An optional password defends BIOS from unauthorized access.
Instructions
• Press "All Programs" from the Windows start menu.
• Open the folder "TOSHIBA" and hit on "Utilities."
• Hit on "HWSetup" to start the Toshiba Hardware BIOS utility.
• Hit on the tab "Password" in the HWSetup window.
• Choose the radio button "Not Registered" in the field "Password."
• Hit the "Apply" button to take away the password and save that modify in the laptop BIOS.
