Thread: PC beeps at start up

when i start up my PC it starts to give out single nonstop very irritating and loud beep. It just doesn't stop, goes on for many minutes. A elite months ago it began beeping, but only very infrequently and not so long. But now it barely goes on and on. Please help me out.

This might solve the problem go into your BIOS while it starts up and detect the choice to disable displaying the 'Start up Logo' or similar like that. This will let you to see your post screen in command prompt manner UI. Here you will be able to assure all device that is testing when it turns on and will be capable to detect errors. These beeps are communications to tell when is happening during post. Often times you will here short beeps as each device dies its test and moves on, where a long beep is a warning.
