Thread: LCD covers black or dark

I have Compaq v6000 series laptop fall of water in angle of screen demolish. And my charger dead,
I take local charger temporary but problem start my laptop with AC power, there nothing shown on cover, even though I can hear windowsoverture sound, but I cut off adapter, it show working well this charger entirely working for my friend. Please help me to figure out this problem.

You shouldn't use an adapter or charger from another machine unless you know the wattage and voltage are exactly the same. You could price the machine. Get one that was planned for your machine.
