Hello, while using DVD it suddenly vanished from windows and did not read anything. Even the secondary Sata went off but my main board is safe. After rebooting the hard drive camr back again but the DVD drive did not. What is the matter? Thanks!

I had the same problem I change the sata cable and did not face any problems again.

Try to run it on another system, if it works then burn and boot the Linux drive cd.
