Thread: Working issue of microphone

Hello guys, I have upgraded my system from xp to windows 7. Will rebooting the system I have came to know that everything was working fine. Now I came to know that the microphone is not working properly when plugged in. I guess the issue has arrived because I upgraded windows7. Any clue? Thanks in advance!!!

First go and assure the important dates of the audio driver from the manufacturer's website itself. If if you get the proper updates of the audio driver then do a uninstall the native driver of the system and install the latest audio driver In the system. I guess the main problem is with the card. This will surely slve your problem.

I feel you have to configure your system in order to see if that microphone is performing or not. Go to the system volume icon and choose the microphone as the default icon there. After that use the speech recognition feature in the microphone and see if it is running well. Or else do one thing click on the setup of the microphone button and after that comply the wizard that is required for the setup of the microphone.

do your microphones require special drivers ?? i am assuming its a usb based microphone do lemme know this
