Thread: PC working slow

There is a problem with my computer. My computer configuration is Core 2 Duo, 2 GB RAM and 160 G8 of hard disk with Windows XP SP3. My computer has become slower and the file transfer speed has become very slow. It takes a long time to copy data anywhere. I scanned my PC for viruses, they were detected and I deleted them all, but the problem still continues. What should I do in such a case? I use Avira Anti Virus Premium Security Suite which is up-to-date. Thanks.
