Lenovo's ldeacentre A600 is a feature-packed, all-in-one PC, which is likely to give ough competition to other players in the market. The ldeacentre A600 is surely a head turner, taking desktop computing to a different level with it's handsome looks.
The computer is well designed and has an extraordinary fmish. We were impressed with the space-conscious desktop, which has all hardware elements fabricated inside the display, and surprisingly measures less than an inch. It also has a glass sheet protecting the display. The webcam is housed on the top-middle of the display and the stereo microphones are placed on its either sides, while the stereo speakers are at the bottom.
TheA600 is a premium desktop PC with an outstanding configuration. It has a Intel Core 2 Duo 2 GHz processor, 2GB DDR3 memory, 640GB hard disk, A TI Mobility Radeon HD3650 graphics card, built-in TV tuner card and a 2I.5in display with a resolution of 1920x1080.
The ldeacentre A600 is also bundled with Windows Vista Home Premium and Veri face facial recognition utility for added security. The monitor webcam automatically adjusts the brightness of the display to what it thinks is may be comfortable for your eyes based on prevailing ambient light manually.
A glossy-finished wireless keyboard (which can be operated from a maximum distance of25 feet) is included, with a built-in touchpad. A wireless laser mouse is standard. The power button and the multi-card reader is placed on the bottom-left of the display.
A remote control is included in the package, which has an air mouse, receive/call via VOIP and motion sensor Wii games. We played a couple of games through it and the performance was adequate.
