If you are not in fact pleased with Atom-powered nettop, this ION barebone PC can be what you wish for. AOpen Japan has recently offered the innovative XC Mini GP7A-HD mini barebone computer that supports Intel’s Core 2 Duo Penryn CPU with up to 4GB of memory.

The GP7A-HD is outfitted with NVIDIA ION graphics as well as present VGA with HDMI output. It has built-in DVD writer with space for a 2.5-inch SATA hard drive. You can also locate two mini PC Express card slot for expansion. There is also 6-in-1 card reader, onboard audio, eSATA port along with six USB ports.

As AOpen is wadding Core 2 Duo CPU into a nettop-sized frame, the corporation has prepared a custom silent cooling system with a copper CPU heat-sink along with integrated fan to diminish heat. The latest XC Mini system will be released in month of December.
