CompuLab recently launches the latest fit-PC2i ultra compact computer, which is a difference of fit-PC2 targeting networking as well as industrial applications. Like its precursor, the fit-PC2i is being advanced by Intel’s Atom Z5xx microprocessor with up to 2GHz, up to 2GB of RAM along with onboard Intel GMA500 graphics.
The major features of the mini PC is its Dual Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports. It easily sustains WiFi 802.11b/g too. The fit-PC2i presents a 2.5-inch SATA hard drive bay with a miniSD card slot as well as consumer can insert the optional onboard 4GB flash memory. There are four USB 2.0 ports, along with RS232 series port, as well as a DVI video output (up to 1920×1080).
CompuLab’s fit-PC2i has an engineering rating die-cast aluminum shell as well as runs fanless at 6-8W. OS choices contain Windows Server, Windows 7, and Windows XP, along with Ubuntu Linux OS. It will be presented for sale in January 2010.
