Both Intex desktops, the Gold GD-16431 and the Platinum PM-16431 came in a standard-sized cabinet. The Platinum PM-16431 looks a little cooler than the Gold series thanks to the glossy black-and-silver front bezel. Both sport multimedia keyboards and standard optical mice which arc pretty decent and usable_ The Platinum series keyboard is slightly thinner. This model also comes with a set of horizontally-standing stereo speakers. They don't have a 3.5 mm headphone port, but rather connect via USB as a separate audio device. It gets detected automatically in Windows, but we couldn't use them with the Ubuntu Linux distribution. Secondly, the USB wire is too short. They provide acceptable sound quality.
