How many physical cores has the i5 480M notebook? I5 was a first generation, but it wanted to play and I think it i5 as the Athlon II this to be worse than a Dual core.

Yes, the i5 480 is a dual core but it is more powerful than the Athlon II. Of course, one gains in CPU and one GPU, if not going to use it for games but thinks better i5 will be very limited by the graphics. (Although I do not remember there being any 4750, will be a 4570) .

Deceive not deceive you. The i5 has two cores, and the graph of the athlon is better to play, but if power necesitas graph, find an i3 or i5 second generation!
