Thread: Windows XP Starting Problem

My PC Configuration
--------------------
OS : WINDOWS XP
PROCESSOR : Intel 800 Mhz
RAM : 256 MB

After starting PC it shows at first C: Drive Window instead of Desktop.
What is the problem?
How can I solve it without formating C drive so that after starting PC it shows
at first the DESKTOP?
Is it Register File Problem?

Please give me immediate solution
