HeadStart and Compute 2009, the second edition of an event that will attempt to bring together the country's top innovators, entrepreneurs, investors, corporate adopters of new technology and industry professionals, will take place on the 9'1, and 10th of January, 2009 at Bangalore's NIMHANS Convention Centre.

The HeadStart Network will host several companies that will define the areas of interest in which they would like to partner start-ups to identify, evaluate,
pursue and execute business opportunities jointly. The HeadStart Network's objective is to help de-risk start-ups early on in their lifecycle by validating business ideas and technology and using customer traction to help attract investments.

HeadStart and Compute 2009 will see the launch of this co-innovation network, with panels that feature corporate adopters from verticals such as advertising and media, retail and transport logistics, telecom, mobile operators, healthcare, semiconductors, consumer products and automation.

Speakers at the event will include experts from companies such as Google, Microsoft, Yahoo!, HP, Sun, Infosys, as well as from universities in India and abroad.
