Microsoft has incorporated activity updates from social networking sites into its Live service to make it easier for people to keep up to date with their friends.
The company said that by partnering with the most popular places on the web, users will have an easy way to share things they do online in one central place.
The What's New activity feed will let people read their friends' and companies' updates on more than 20 websites including Facebook, Twitter, Digg and Last.frn from their Windows Live home page Advertisement.
They can also use the service to update their statuses on the various sites and invite users to the Windows Live Hotmail service from Myspace, Hi5 and Tagged Facebook and LinkedIn.
David Law, a representative of Windows Live, said: "As we use an ever growing number of websites to communicate, our digital lives have become increasingly harder to manage. Windows Live will now bring many of these services together into one digital hub, making it far simpler to stay connected in whatever way you choose."
