The world's largest manufacturer of processors is of the opinion that ordinary personal computers will remain with mankind for many, many years, in spite of the miracles in the field of mobile computing. Vice-president and general manager of Intel Crook Rob (Rob Crooke) stated that Desktops will live as long as there will be machine computation. However, Crook believes that after some time passed the outcome of the market of mobile computer market, which is why Intel is investing heavily in development of mobile chips.
An excellent example of this is the platform of Clarkdale. Processor based on Intel Nehalem architecture and to make 32nm production methods, will have built the kernel image. The manufacturer wants to join Clarkdale with vPro technology to provide security and ease of control devices on the basis of Clarkdale. However, mobile solutions, which are suitable for individual users will not be met with approval by various organizations. It is unlikely that small and large companies to agree that any employee has the opportunity to carry home your work laptop. Corporate clients will still prefer the conventional bulky computers, so the desktop solutions will remain an important segment for Intel.
