Company Intel officially announced its partners producing laptops that its platform Calpella with P55 chipset will not support new memory architecture, code-named Braidwood. P55 chipset and Quad processors Clarkdale will be formally presented in the third quarter of this year and would not support the technology Braidwood Turbo Memory. Calpella platform in the form in which it appears in the third quarter, will have to rely solely on the discrete graphics. To support the Braidwood users will have to wait.
Braidwood technology will allow a better response and quicker boot. Intel plans to release this technology modules for capacity from 4GB up to 16Gb. Memory Braidwood is the successor of the not-too-successful memory Intel Turbo, created for the platform Montevina, which, as Braidwood, had promised to speed up your computer, but was not able to do so, but only slightly accelerated the reaction and slightly reduced the load time. Let's hope that new technology will offer the best results.
