Rick Bergman (Rick Bergman), senior vice president of AMD, said that AMD will introduce the first chips for graphics cards supporting DirectX 11. He said that the producer is planning to soon "to provide facilities of Microsoft and other developers of software that they are primarily made DX11 games for our equipment." It seems that Bergman is fully confident in DirectX 11, and believes that this standard will provide us a good springboard for future high-performance graphics solutions.
While AMD is focusing on support for DX11, NVidia Company is working on GP-GPU, CUDA, and OpenCL. Which strategy would be more than the winning time will show?
