Comcast launches Wireless Data Network

Comcast has just recently started their high speed wireless data services to Portland, Oregon, and will be setting up to provide this service to Atlanta, Chicago and Philadelphia by the end of this year.
The service, known as Comcast high-speed 2go, will enable cable operators another tool, and its competition with the large telecommunications providers such as Verizon and AT & T Comcast has been providing home-based voice and broadband services.
"With Comcast's broadband Internet, we have provided one of the fastest cable connection" Today, Cathy Avgiris, Comcast's senior vice president and general manager of wireless and voice services, said in a statement. "Now the introduction of high-speed 2go, we also provide the fastest national wireless Internet service."
Comcast plans to arrange a nationwide WiMax service this.
